Day 20

It started snowing last night.  It is still snowing today.  I love taking pictures of snow, unfortunately it generally snows when I can't take pictures.  Such as this one, when it's 11pm and starts snowing.  Not much I can do about it though.  I went out with the dog and played in the snow anyway.  

Day 19

As a tradition my Grandmother always puts up her Christmas tree.  This is the same tree topper that she has had since I have been alive.  Not the greatest picture, but the topper has special meaning.  Thanks for looking!

Day 18 - Thanksgiving!

This is from Thanksgiving day.  I went home to Chicago to eat Thanksgiving dinner with my family.  This is one of the first times I've been home in about 3 years, it was a nice change.  Hope you enjoy the pictures :)  The first is of everyone eating, 2nd is of my grandmother.

Day 17

My is my childhood cat.  He is a maine coon cat and weighs about 20 lbs.  He is the largest cat that I have seen.  His name is Merlin and I couldn't resist taking a picture of his curly eyebrows.

Day 16

I finally got a chance to go home and see my parents for Thanksgiving.  I haven't been home for Thanksgiving in about 4 years.  My parents are thrilled to see me and I couldn't be happier to be around finally for the holidays.  This is my dad.

Day 15

I took this picture while I was sitting around watching tv.  An old episode of House was on, and I saw the season sitting out.  So, that's how I got this picture!

Day 14

Finally have a chance to post my backdated images.  This one was taken of the fire truck that was called to my neighbors house.  I decided to not be rude and take a picture of all of the action, but capture something about the event without being intrusive.

So, I just realized I take a lot of pictures of my Fiancee...This is another one of her :)

I took a few more pictures today, but I decided that I wanted to use this picture because of the one curly hair that was hanging down...

Day 12

Went to lunch with a friend from Oregon.  He was in town just for a few days, but it was a good time.  He decided to take my sunglasses and my hat.

Day 5

Not all that much going on today.  Went to the dog park and out to lunch...watched a movie and relaxed the rest of the day.  Overall it was a pretty dark and gloomy day for pictures, so I didn't get much.  Here's what I have!

I played around with this one for a while, I took all of the color out except for yellow (and other shades similar)

Day 4

Day for of the 365 project:

I got my new dog today!  Adopted her from Mix and Match Animal Rescue in Iowa City, IA.  

She is a 2 year old German Shepherd/Boarder Collie mix.  

She is amazing!!  Our cats are still getting used to her, but they are warming up to her pretty well.  They will still hiss if she gets too close, but when she's sleeping they will sleep close by.

Day 3

10 minutes before midnight I finally get this up!!  

Going strong for 3 days...

I went to dinner this evening, no one really wanted their picture taken, but I took them anyway :)  They are kind of boring, but there wasn't much to get in this place.  I will get better ones tomorrow.

I can't remember the last time I had a blog...so this will be interesting. 

I am going to try the 'take one picture a day for 365 days' challenge/project.  I will do the best I can with this, we'll see how it turns out!
